REASA
The purpose for this group is to get as many appraisers together as we can to discuss the latest topics in the appraising field. This gathering of common interests allows other appraisers to listen to how their peers are solving common problems, coming up with faster and more efficient ways to get the job done and much more. REASA also offers continued education twice a year which helps appraisers keep on top of what is going on in the field. We have a guest speaker come in every month to discuss any relevant topics which they are directly involved to give us the inside scoop on what’s to come.
PURPOSE
AND OBJECTIVES
PURPOSE: To serve the specialized needs of those members with an interest in real estate appraisal; and to be the business advocate for appraisers in Southern Arizona.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To enhance the professionalism, knowledge, and public image of
appraiser members.
2. To provide an extensive, meaningful and unified voice on regulatory
and legislative issues.
3. To serve as a liaison with other appraiser groups.
4. To provide economic benefits for members by providing products and
services.
5. To provide opportunities for idea exchange among peers.
6. To offer opportunities for peer recognition and
leadership development.
7. To add to the body of knowledge in the appraisal area.
8. To provide a voice for those members with an interest in real estate
appraisal.
GOALS AND BENEFITS:
1. Legislative updates, calls to action, drafts and periodic reports on
legislative and regulatory activities that pertain to the appraisal area.
2. Publication of a newsletter that provides information on relevant
issues in the appraisal profession.
3. Chapter membership directory.
4. Opportunities for continuing education offerings through the chapter
and as a clearing house for programs offered by others.
5. Optional telephone directory listing.
